: Shejay hits the 600 mark!
We can hardly believe it, seems like yesterday when Shejay was just a little lass with only 50 friends on her database. Now, just three years on and our little girl is all grown up...and with over 600 DJs and artist friends to play with. WOW. We're so proud and so very pleased to see the community grow. Keep it coming ladies, and stay tuned for many more developments in 2005!

: Shejay LA!!!
On February 13, Shejay hosted the first Los Angeles event! While raising funds for our new website, we blew the roof right off Club El Centro! Shejay artists Samantha Lee, Amber Reyn, Diosa and Shortee played in front of 250 partiers, supporters, breakdancers and more. Thanks to all the sponsors and DJs who made this possible. Shejay is now 3 years old and badly needed a facelift and a revamp... so we gave her one! Version 2.0 is bigger, better and the best she's ever been! You can now manage your artist profile easily, submit content easier and keep track of it's status, and even be featured front and center with our new nifty 'featured femme' feature. : Kellilicious Shipped to Siberia
(Well, actually....even further - to the Russian Far East!) Khabarovsk, Russia - 7 hours flight, 11 time zones from Moscow, 15 miles from the Chinese border.... and a world away ... Kellilicious flew to, literally, the corner of the world and rocked a sell-out crowd at Club Velicano where she performed with Russia's two top DJs : reknowned DJ & producer Sanchez, and MTV Award Winner, Groove. Wow. |

: November Fundraisers a Success
In November, Shejay hosted two different parties on two seperate continents, both to help raise money for our new website. Diosa hosted a perfectly packed F.L.O.W. (First Ladies of Wax) in Tempe AZ, and The Girlie Show in London UK, hosted by Baby T and Kellilicious, brought out over 200 Shejay supporters....A great time was had by all, setting the stage for more nights like these to come! Though we didn't hit jackpot, we certainly did get enough support to get us rolling and to make us eternally grateful for what a great following we have! Thanks to the Shejay punters....and to the Shejay DJs that made it all worth while! You can read more about these two nights and who played in our Reviews section! |
